how do I change over from my phone to my speakers on my pc

as soon as I log into Spotify on my pc, it starts playing a playlist, but 2 seconds later it starts up on my phone instead. How do I log out of either my phone or my pc .... I prefer to listen to playlists on my pc speakers of course

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community. 

You can log out from your account on your devices easily by following these steps. However, you don't need to log out from the mobile app in the case you mentioned, it's enough that you close it so it's not active in the background. 

Also, if you start the playback on your PC, it shouldn't switch to your phone. You can control on which device you'd like to stream by heading to the Connect list in Now playing view and choosing the device you want:
