music won't play

I'm on a chromebook, and Spotify has always worked on here, but now when I click a song or playlist, it doesn't work.

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. 

Could you let us know if you've downloaded the app or if you're using the web player?

On another note, does the same happen with every playlist/song/podcast? If so, could you give a different internet connection a go to see if the same happens? You can create a hotspot on your phone and using that. 

It's also worth clearing up your hosts files. You can find the steps here.

I'm on the web version. And the same thing happens for every song and playlist. I downloaded Spotify app temporarily on my Chromebook to see if it works on that, and it does; but still doesn't work on the web version.

Would you mind giving a try to the suggested steps by @Eni here and let us know if they make any difference? If the app's working, then it's very likely that the issue is with the web version only.

Additionally, test with a different browser and let us know if you even see any error messages.
