songs by a specific artist arent playing

My Question or Issue

I guess I clicked something, but im trying to play songs from Jobo Gamer, and they wont play. Ive listened to them before, but now when I click on the song it plays a totally different song. 2 songs by this artist are on my playlist but none of them will play, instead it just skips the song. hope this makes sense!

Does this happen with all of their songs? If so, it's possible that you accidentally blocked the artist in the mobile app (the feature syncs across all devices you use Spotify on). You can check that by heading to the artist page and tapping the three dots menu:

If this happens with specific songs, it's possible that they're unavailable at the moment. As much as we'd love to have all the music in the world on Spotify, the content may vary over time and between countries. This depends on permissions from rights holders.

thank you so much! by the time I saw this, the problem just suddenly went away, so I guess ill never know what happened. Thanks anyways for replying and trying to help.

I had a similar issue with a different artist. Found this and attempted the solution on my pc, (windows), yet it didn't even offer me the option to block or unblock any artist there. I quickly switched to my phone where I was also experiencing the issue, and I found the options. I didn't have them blocked, though I managed to fix the issue by blocking and then unblocking them. I'm not quite sure why it even happened like this since I didn't have them blocked; but blocking and unblocking them worked for me - just putting this out there in case someone else has a similar issue.
