spotify and gramofon

spotify and gramofon

hello

i have a question about gramofon and spotify connect.

I see some video and tutorials about it and i have same question.

Does i have set spotify user and password during gramofon configuration?

I dont see it so i have doubt about it...

Also i read that all devices should be connected to the same network. So does it mean that if i have  desktop computer without wifi which is connected to router via LAN cable i wouldn't use gramofon with this computer?

I also have two wifi network (2.4 and 5ghz). If i would use gramofon all devices should be connected to 2.4ghz network? For example to use spotify connect with ios android and windows desktop app only need to connect all devices to internet...

No, you don't have to set Spotify username and password when configuring the gramofon.

Unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to use a device that does not have WiFi. When you have the Spotify app open on the computer or your mobile phone, the Spotify app communicates with the gramofon by looking for it on the same WiFi network.

The gramofon needs to be connected to the 2.4ghz  but any device in your network with the Spotify app can be connected to the 5ghz band.

For example:

I have my laptop connected to 5ghz WiFi and I am able to play on the gramofon connectes to thr 2.4 ghz wifi. Both the same WiFi network though.
