spotify on tv keeps playing audio but screen freezes

after a while of listening to spotify on my tv (unsure how long, i usually leave it on overnight while i sleep) the screen freezes on whatever song is currently playing. the music keeps going and keeps moving on to the next song, it’s just the screen that freezes.
