spotify pausing every 30 seconds

It happens anywhere I'm signed in no matter the circumstances, car stereo, Bluetooth speaker, home stereo off of desktop app, home office off of separate desktop app, nothing is working? I've changed password and signed out of all devices. I've changed my data usage and music quality. I've reinstalled the application. Still pauses after 30 seconds almost like a copyright blocker when in call, except I haven't been in calls?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case, would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected devices in which you notice this behavior, along with the exact Spotify version you're running on those devices?

On another note, do you use a VPN service? If yes, try switching it off to check if you notice any difference. Keep in mind Spotify doesn't officially support VPN. This means that issues with the app while using VPN are expected behavior.

Since you mentioned this is happening on the desktop app on 2 different computers, would you mind checking if this is happening as well on the web player?

Lastly, since you notice this is happening regardless of the device, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details.

I am also having the same issues on my OS devices. My partner & I share a spotify and it happens on both of our personal phones, laptops, etc. We've signed out of every device, toggled background app refresh, uninstalled/installed spotify, everything! I am running Spotify for macOS (Intel) 1.2.16.947.gcfbaa410 on Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1. We noticed it happens once we plug into a speaker it will bug out the rest of our devices and pause perfectly every 30 seconds. It's driving us absolutely crazy having to deal with this 😕
