timer function for studying (something like pomodoro)

timer function for studying (something like pomodoro)

Something like a Pomodoro timer, or if that's too complicated, just a simple timer.

I often study with Spotify, there are a lot of great playlists and stuff, and it really helps me focus, but I have to turn on a separate timer every time. So I thought it would be super useful if there was a built-in timer (which you could maybe deactivate in the settings for those who don't want it)

Hey @hello297,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

That being said, we can confirm you can find a timer within the app. This is a feature available on the mobile device app version, and you can find it when playing both playlists and podcasts. You can read more about the timer here.

To find it, you should start playing any content you'd like and go to the Now playing view. From there, you should go to the three-dot menu at the right-top of the screen. You'll find the option to set the timer with:

For podcasts, you can see the timer on the Now playing view, on the right:

You have to make sure your suggestion is clear, so other users know what they're voting for. You can re-post your suggestion, but take into account you must follow the guidelines for submitting ideas, so your suggestion will be approved more quickly and smoothly.

Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
