Since you mentioned it's not working when you attempt to register, could you let us know what happens if you try to log in to an already existing Spotify account?

It would be great if you could also test with another network connection just in case. If you're using Wifi, restart your router if you've not already done so and if it's possible, you could also share mobile data via hotspot to the Kindle.

Let us know how it goes so we can decide how to troubleshoot further together if needed 🙂
