why cant i redeem a code for spotify premium bought via Amazon.com

I won a spotify premium voucher for 6 months in our company's event and I cannot redeem it because "the code you've entered is invalid for your country". I have even tried changing my country region as advised on your page but it doesnt seem to be working. I have successfully changed the country settings, but I still can´t redeem my voucher, still the same message keeps popping up.
