why won't the lyrics on my device show up?

I've been using my ipad to listen to music. The lyrics were showing but have suddenly not been. I went onto my computer and the lyrics showed on the computer but not the ipad. Same account mind you. I just went into a different account on my ipad to see if it was the device that was the problem but the lyrics showed on the seperate account and not my main.

Please take a look at this article over here.
If your device is fully compatible with Spotify, then you're most likely affected by an issue that is already on our radar.
Lyrics will currently not be shown on some mobile devices.

Fret not though, they should still be present on all other platforms!

As for mobile (iPad included), we can't provide you with an exact timeframe for when this will get changed back to normal but do keep your app up to date at all times 🙌🏼
