Amazon Echo saying account not premium

Amazon Echo saying account not premium

As above, just subscribed to premium Spotify and Alexa is saying cannot play when asked as 'account is not premium'.
Anyone else had this issue?

For anyone who might have similar issue, old accounts stay in the Alexa memory so you need to remove the account altogether before adding the new one.

How? There's no way I can see to do that.

Same issue. 

Same issue. Upgraded to a family premium plan on Spotify. Spent a long time on the phone with Amazon cust serv with no success. Just exchanged our Echo for a new one. Same issue. Anyone ever get this resolved?
