Android head unit needs Spotify Premium to login

My Question or Issue

I'm trying to login in to an Android car stereo head unit using my Facebook login to my account which is on a family premium account and it won't login and says "Spotify premium is required"

Any ideas how to get logged in as this is a premium account?

Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please try logging in using your username and password instead?

1. Go to https://spotify.com/account first to make sure you're logged into your Premium account
2. Then go to https://www.spotify.com/account/set-device-password/ where you'll be able to see your account's username and set a password
