Hey @119973233 ,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately not. The only thing you could do is ask each family member to send you their Spotify Wrapped stats at the end of the year, to see how many minutes they listened to music.

Hope this clears things up 🙂

Hi. Thank you for your answer.

Where do is find this wrapped stats?

Regards

Hey @119973233 ,

Thanks for getting back.

At the end of each year, you'll be able to access your stats (Wrapped) within the mobile app or via https://spotify.com/wrapped. 🙂 It's not possible to access the stats of previous years now if you haven't saved those.

Hope this helps.

This should be one of the _top_ feature requests. I mean, i dont want to wait until the end of the year and _trick_ family members to see how many polka or gospel rock bands they listen to. I'm fully paying for this family plan, but if some of my family members dont actually use it to the point that i'm all alone in using it, then why should i keep this plan.
All i want to see in the account details is see if they have been active in the last week/month/year/decennia.

That wouldnt be too difficult to add since you already know this per account anyway.

I admit i come across harsh, but with every streaming service upping their pricing, the least we can ask for is details so that we can see where we can cut costs.

HTF is this feature not implemented?!

If, for example, I want to be able to check whether my kids are using this in class, or after bedtime, etc. YTF can't I do that?!

Realtime User/account activity history/information should be easily and freely available to plan managers *ANYTIME* they want to see it!

At the very least, they should be able to see the last time someone accessed their account, for how long, and, if they're active at the time, what device(s) they're using, how long they've been on for and what they're doing at that exact moment (i.e. what, if anything, is currently playing)!

There's literally NO WAY, that Spotify's System Admins can't see this information, in real time, anytime they want, so WHY isn't it being made available to parents/plan managers?!

Unbelievable.... 🤦‍♀️🙄🤬

Why would you want such a feature? It can be very invasive to know details on usage of other accounts. What if they don't want to share them with you?? There's whole bunch of regulations to protect this, it's even why the Friend Feed has become so limited and everything needs to be enabled by the user.

If you don't trust your kids to use the app according to your rules, then maybe don't give Premium or a phone or whatever you use, to them? Or just trust what they tell you.

And for OP, asking people if they still use their account is better than waiting for a year to ask them to give you their Wrapped to bill them per time. Even so, Wrapped excludes some months, so you're not gonna even have an accurate idea, cause it's possible one of the members can stockpile their minutes the month that's not in the stats.

I am in a family plan and if the owner asked me to hand them over details of usage, I'd feel creeped out and say no.

As a parent I fully understand the tightrope walk for caring/loving my children and their need for privacy. Going from pre teen to adult they will get more responsibility and freedom.

Then there is safety, I want to know if my children are listening to extremist stuff. Spotify is a pretty safe space but I still want to know.

As a parent you have the right and the duty to intervene when your child is doing something stupid.

As a practical note, I want to check usage for a simple question, is it still worth to use the family plan?

As a parent you have the right and the duty to intervene when your child is doing something stupid.  > Yeah, but this wouldn't be only utilized by parents if it ever became possible. I understand where you come from, I really do. But, think of friends who live together for example, or any other stalker-type possibility where this could be applied. It can become really bad, really fast. To your point, there's things like Spotify Kids if you want to ensure what your kids are listening to is safe. You can also have a conversation with your kids about this and trust their judgement.

As a practical note, I want to check usage for a simple question, is it still worth to use the family plan? > Just ask your family members how much they use it, and if they want to continue to do so. If you don't want to continue paying for it, you can also just cancel it for a month (or swap to Individual Premium) and see who & how fast complains 😄

It's not even about caring what people are listening to, just IF they are using it.  Just a "minutes listened" or "per month" or "last used" date would be plenty.

And asking never works, either they say yes, when they are not, or they remember it's there, and start using ti for like a week before going back to whatever else they use.

Companies like Spotify (and streaming in general) definitely know these numbers but they will never provide them, they don't want you to know it's not being used, they want you to just keep paying.
