Can't find my address for family premium verification

Can't find my address for family premium verification

I received an email telling me to verify my home address for Spotify family premium account, or I'll be kicked out of the family plan in a week. So I entered my address (an apartment area), but nothing close to it showed in the search box - not even in the same city. I tried different names, and even streets that are close enough to my place, but they said my answer didn't match. I'm in Hong Kong - how can the search box suggest addresses in India, Japan or US?

I tried typing in English, Chinese, on different browsers (Brave, Chrome, Safari), but still no luck.

When I type my exact address and hit "search", it says "an error occured. Please try again later"

I reached out to customer support, but they are forever "typing..."

Do you have any tips for the address verification search box?

Hey @alisonlee,

Thanks for reaching out 🙂

I recommend trying it...

  • on a different device
  • in a different browser, preferably in an incognito/private browser window
  • while using a different internet connection and no VPNs or Proxies

Let me know how it goes! 🙂

Maxim,

That was not helpful at all.

My family can't find the address, and they are about to get kicked out of the account.

I don't know what else to do, and there is no help anywhere.

I am afraid I will have just to cancel my account after years because there is nothing I can do, and there is no one that can hlep

Hey @wladmir,

Try using a Google+ code instead of the address, it should help you resolve the issue 🙂

To see how to do this, go through this link and see the solution to the thread.

Hope this helps! We're here for you in case anything else comes up 🙌🏼
