can't maintain family premium subscription after change country

I change my payment method from a new country after moving with my family. I had family premium in my previous country but my Spotify account doesn't allow me to join family premium, only individual premium with my updated payment method. So in the next billing date my family will loose access to their premium benefits.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

It sounds like you were trying to update your payment method but couldn’t find the Premium Family plan you currently have.

 

I’d suggest canceling your subscription and waiting for your account to move to the Free plan. Once it’s on Free, you can update your country setting and then resubscribe to the Premium Family plan with the new payment method. This should help avoid any issues.

 

Just a reminder—everyone on the Family plan must live at the same address. When your accounts switch to free, each family member will also need to update their own country/region settings.
