Cannot join premium family (location issue?)

Cannot join premium family (location issue?)

I have a Premium Family account and shared the link with my son. He clicks on the link and adds his account number but even though he uses the same address I provided for the family account he gets an error message that it is the wrong address. We think it it because my account (and therefore the Premium Family account) is registered the UK while my son's (free) account location is Sri Lanka. Could that be the reason and what can we do about it?

The Premium Family subscription can be created for members of family or a group of people living together in the same country and under the same address.

 

If your account was created in the UK, only UK based members that resign under the same address as yours can join the account - you can read all about the plan here.
