Charged 2 times in a month!!!!!!

Hello!!

On october 12 Ive been charged 2 times with no reason!

Hi @Assemsterne. Sorry to hear that you've run into this issue. Few questions to help try and resolve this: Were the charges both posted on the same day, or on different days? Were you trying to do anything before this happened, like, for example, enroll in the student discount? Is this the first time that this has happened, or has it happened before?

Both at the same day and it never happened before!

Hey @Assemsterne. Were you trying to upgrade to a premium subscription that day, or on the days previous, or swap over to a student discount? Also, if you view your subscription page, when does it say that your account will renew? Is it one month out, or more?

it says that account will renew on nov 12

 

and no i wasnt doing anything, it always goes automatically, so i dont even go on my account page

Last thing, can you confirm that one of the charges isn't a pre-authorization? These are temporarily holds placed by services like Spotify to ensure that funds are availible in the provided payment option. These should drop within a few buissiness days on their own.

 

If you could double check your payment method and see if the charge is still there, that'd be awesome. If the charge is still present six days later, then it's likely not a pre-authorization (it could be, but less likely). If it's gone, then there's nothing to worry about. 

 

If it's still there though, then you'll likely want to reach out to support for further assistance. Please fill out the online contact form to create a ticket with Support. If, for whatever reason, you cannot use the form, or would prefer not to, support can also be reached on twitter by reaching out to @SpotifyCares, or on Facebook by sending a message to the Spotify Cares Facebook page.

Please be aware that responses may take anywhere from 24-48 hours depending on the volume of tickets they are currently handling. Also note that it will be helpful to include all of the trouble-shooting steps and information that I have already run you through.

It is not pre autorization. Its been 6 days already

It is in payment now.
