Connect to a device (amazon Echo)

Connect to a device (amazon Echo)

I have 3 Amazon devices and a Spotify family account. When I link my Spotify account in the Alexa app, I’m able to play Spotify directly to any of the three devices. I then take my wife’s phone and do the same, and then all of the devices in my Spotify app disappear. Basically, it seems only one of us can connect to our Alexa’s via Spotify?

I'm having a similar issue, except that each family member has a different Spotify account. Only my Spotify account is configured in the Echo settings and therefore only my account appears to be able to listen to music on the varoius Echo devices. I can connect the other devices, with other Spotify accounts linked to the family account, to Echos via bluetooth but that is far less convenient.

Ideally, this is how it should work:

- The primary account in a Spotify family plan is configured in the Amazon Echo settings

- Every spotify account linked to that primary account is able to see and select from the various available devices to play their music.

Not sure is this needs to be done on Spotify's side or Amazon's side or a mutual effort but until it is corrected it is very limiting for families.
