Family Account Change

Family Account Change

I entered a family account but I moved to a different city. I want to register for a new family account but it gives an error.

I e-mailed Spotify but they did not respond.

Can you help me?

Hey @HakanD,

The Spotify Support team usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

    • Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.
    • If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the Community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.
    • If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check your accounts email address here.

Hi Maxim I did not take a confirmation email.

If you can share the support mail address with me, I want to send a new e-mail.

First, we'll find out if it's even necessary to reach out to Support 🙂

Can you please provide me with some more info on your issue? What error message are you seeing when you try to start a new Premium for Family plan?

I had a family plan I joined. But the time is over and I moved to another city. I want to join a new family plan in the new city.

As far as I know, you can only pass once in 12 months from one premium plan to another. If this year is over, you will not be able to switch to another Premium for Family at the moment.

but I do not want to open a new account.

I understand that, but unfortunately, there's no way around this.

You can only switch from one Family plan to another once every 12 months. If you don't want to create another account, but would still like to have Premium features, then you can subscribe to regular Premium at https://spotify.com/premium.

Alternatively, you can wait until you can join a Family plan again.
