Family account address problem

Family account address problem

Hi,

I am very new at spotify. I bought a familiy account. But just me and my wife is using. We are living in Istanbul Turkey. While I subscribte unfortunatly I did not care about the address. We both use about 1 month without any problem. But now my wife can not use premium as family. Hers is free mode now. I am sending new invitations to her. when she accept, she receive error while entering the address.

I also did not understand why spotify has no live support???

What do I have to do now? How will I solve her problem?

Hey @MuratD77,

 

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to change the address registered on an existing Premium for Family plan.

If you move, or enter the wrong details, you need to create a new account and subscribe to Premium for Family on that account. Don’t forget to cancel the plan on your old account 🙂

First of all thank you for your responce. 

 

I totally understand that I can not change my address. Actually I just want to see it so I will understand that I wrote wrong. 

 

And also all we know that to verifiy the same address for 2 or more uses, there are several, better and technological ways. We are talking about my wife, so we use same wifi with same IP. Spotify can easyly check it I guess.

 

Also I read that spotify has live support but most probably not for Turkey. This is also something silly. 

That's just how Spotify's policy is. Not entering a valid address can cause issues with verifying that all members reside at the same address 🙂

I'm also facing the same issue with my brother. I added him as family and his account got suspended after a while.

 

I canceled my subscription and all that. The problem is that I can't change my address, that option just doesn't exist in my account. When i resubscribed, i only entered my payment method and that's it. 

 

How can I change an address?

Anyway I canceled my premium family account.

I am very disappointed with this technology Spotify is using. There are several ways to confirm the family relationship or address. Even not finding a real response from Spotify, shall be a good reason not to use it.

20 years ago we could able to get help via e-mails but not can not able to get help in anyway.
