My Question or Issue

I moved to "family" today in order to invite my two sons and my wife. The boys already had premium, but the credit card I used to register their accounts is due soon. So I thought it's a good idea to move to a family account. I invited my younger son first and went through the registration with him. As a result, it seems like HE owns a spotify family account now. I cancelled then first the family premium thing, then even his premium; I also re-sent the invitation, cancelled the invitation and invited again. Still there's no sign of him being part of our spotify family.

Any idea what I can do? Attached you'll find a screenshot of his account (German).

TIA

André

I have the same problem it seems. I extended the service to include Family and invited my two kids and my wife.

My two kids joined without issue but my wife cannot join.

The strange thing is that when my wife clicks the link it welcomes her to Alice's family... which is kind of weird, because Alice is my daughter and was the first person I invited and the first to join. I have not been able to find a solution in the support pages because we all live on the same address and I have no idea where the problem lies. My own account still says I own the family and that my kids are members. My wife still has an invite pending, but cannot join.

We even tried to register a new account for my wife and used a different email address, but got the same result. I'm stuck and need help.

Hello there!

No worries, since you cancelled the family plan in your son's account in time, you should be able to invite your son's account to the plan. However, you can do that as soon as the subscription runs out, which should be after 15/11/18 from what I could see in the screenshot.

You should try sending a new invite to your son's account after that date and let me know how it goes.

Hope this helps and have a nice day!
