Family members removed without notice

I have a premium family plan and two members that were already been registered on the plan for a long time were removed without any notice and I’ve tried to add one of them again and she received a message saying it’s not possible to rejoin the plan for 12 months.

Hey folks!

In the cases of a missed re-verification email you can contact our support folks to see if they can help you out with rejoining the same Family plan once more. Keep in mind that these emails get sent to both the plan owner and the plan member.
Tip: In case you need to update an account's existing email address, you can do so from 
here.

For anyone trying to switch their Family plan, note that, as a member account, you can change a Family plan only once every 12 months. You could alternatively start your own Family plan and invite the other plan members, provided it's their first plan switch within 12 months 🙂

same for me. I ignored the "you have to update the address within 7 days"- email since we've been on vacation. Now it seems to be impossible to add my wife again. "You can add a family plan in 12 months again". Come on, there must be another solution than to register a new account and transfer all playlists. We are a family and paying. I am really **bleep**, that I try to solve such a problem since one hour during heavy workload.

I have the same issue of the e-mail, my wife and daughter were on vacation and didn't see the emails. Spotify staff, please help us!

Same problem! I’ve had my family plan account for years. My husband and another family member who both live in my household were kicked. I read in the one of the FAQ articles that they get an in-app request for verification. Neither of them got that. They would have verified immediately. Not everyone checks their email within 7 days. 

Same happened to my me and my accounts. The support page was tedious, but after getting past the BOT and talking with a human the issue was resolved quickly.

Spotify are complete b******** they have no right to remove people from my premium family account which I f****** paid for. Total s***bags

One of the family members on my premium family account tried to use the link sent in the email to verify the address, but the link did not end up working and he was kicked off. How can I bring him back onto my plan? This wasn't his fault for a faulty link.

I am also running into this problem because I think the link expired before I got a chance to see it in my email.

It happened the same to me. I havent seen neither the bot or human chat option, Where can I find It?

My Question or issue

I have a family account, we have our summer break and my kids are kicked out the family account. How do I get them back in? And yes the are under the same roof.

Both of my kids have been removed from my family plan while we are travelling overseas. The app wouldn’t agree to there home address since we were travelling. How do get them back in the plan? Also

how do I contact Spotify. I can’t find any active links to get a hold of them

Ich war bei meinem Bruder in seinem Spotify-Abo mit drin. Seit ein paar Tagen habe ich nur die Free-Version zur Verfügung, was echt nervig ist. Mein Bruder hat bei sich nichts geändert. I recommend checking your email's inbox as well as your span/junk folder. It's possible that Spotify sent you an email asking you to verify your address within 7 days. 🙂

 

In case you received such email, the plan manager (your brother) should've also received it.

Did you receive an email asking you to verify your address within 7 days to stay in the plan? 🙂 It's worth checking your email's junk/spam folder as well.

Hi I have had 3 of my family members removed today,,,,,,,there was no time given on the deadline.  Reasonably there should be until midnight on the day of the deadline.  I am annoyed at the way this request from Spotify has been handled.

Two of my family member got automatically remove from my Family plan without any notification. I'm the Family plan owner and when I invited them back it says that "you can join someone else account in 12 months" We're part of the Family plan for 6years already and this is the first time that happens to us. What should I do to invite them to the Family plan again? Thanks!

I tried following the suggestion of Vasil  by reaching out to Spotify Support and two of my family members who got removed from plan was able to join back now.
