Family plan issue

Why cant I join my fathers family plan? I get the email invite, accept the invitation and fill out the information to submit and it says I can only change the family plan once a year. The most frustrating part is that everyone else is active on the family plan except me. What can I do to fix this?

Hey @alexavridor,

 

You're seeing that error message because you can only switch from one Family plan to another once every 12 months.

But if I was already apart of that plan from the beginning how come I can’t join again when he sends me an invite?

As you can only switch from one Premium for Family plan to another once every 12 months, this message will usually display if you hit this yearly limit. When this happens, you're not able to switch to another Premium for Family plan at this time.

 

If this doesn't sound right however, I'd recommend:
- Trying to accept the invite in a different browser/incognito window.
- Make sure the owner who sent the invite has logged out of their account page first.
- Asking the user to try and re-send the invite
