Family

My dad bought the family version but i can't get my spotify into the family version. The code that he sent says it's not valid when you insert it in the right place for it on the spotify webpage. He tried sending the code again but it didn't help. I'm the only one in the family who's didn't work. We have no idea what to do can anyone help?

Hi!

The reason your code may not be working is that maybe the number of family members is incorrect.

  1. To increase the number of subaccounts in your plan, go to your account page.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click Add Member.
  4. Select the new family plan size that you’d like to upgrade to.
    Note: You should see the new billing date and monthly price for the family plan size that you select, underneath.
  5. Click Add Member. 

This may allow the code to work.

 

If this is not the case, then try deleting and redownloading the app. Then try to use a newly sent code (Also, try to use the code quickly and not wait a long time after it is sent).

 

If everything fails, try reloading/refreshing, restarting the device, using a different account, or contacting Spotify.

They will give you an automatic reply and you must reply even if it says no-reply. 

You will usually get a reply back in around 24 hours.
