My Question or Issue

Hi,

I have an Account for my family (with two accounts, my wife and I) and as I also have some google home mini, I've linked my account to my google account, so far everything basic but... if I'm on my way to work listening my favorite music and someone ( let's say my daughter) ask at home a bit of music, it cut what I'm listening ( and vice versa )

When I used Deezer, I was allowed to have multiple listening people at the same time, Netflix let us watch up to 4 screens at the same time, but Spotify don't let me do like every other streaming platform on premium like account.

So what is the proper way of configuration to be able to have my music?

I can't imagine this case is not covered by a modern platform in a world where smart assistants are mainstream...

Regards,

Hello,

I have had the same problem.

One possible option would be to link a less utilized account to your google home, such as your wife's (if it is less utilized).  There is no way to stream two separate songs on two devices at the same time from one Spotify account.

Perhaps since your daughter is not yet on your plan, but lives with you, you can make an account for her on your family plan and link that to the google home.

The same issue arises with Amazon products - it's just how Spotify functions for now!
