My Question or Issue

I had changed my Spotify to Premium Duo April 23rd, 2023. Right now I am trying to accept an invite to Premium Family but it says There was a problem, Please try again later. All of us have the same address. How do both my partner and I get to accept the invite to Premium Family?

I have exactly the same problem! Can’t find out what is wrong…. Was thinking maybe have to cancel this Duo Spotify first before accepting the invite? 

That’s what I was thinking too, but I’m worried that I would still have to wait 12 months before I can then accept the invite.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

@Nikkipoe98, @Laurapsv, just to confirm, are you both the manager of the plans or members? If you're the owners of the plan, then @Laurapsv guest is the way to go. You'll need to cancel your subscriptions first by following these steps.

 

After that, both the manager accounts and the member ones will revert to free on your next billing date. You can check your billing date on your account page, at the top. Once that happens, you can try joining the family plans, making sure you're entering the same address as the plan manager upon joining the plan.

 

If you're members of the plan, you can instruct the managers to follow the steps above 😄 Plan members can change plans once every 12 months. It'd be a good idea when you or the members of your plans joined before making any changes. 

 

If this continues to happen afterwards, keep in mind that the invite link expires when used by another member. Ask the manager of the plan to send you a new link to try again.
