How to subscribe family plan and pay yearly

Hi,

I have a Family Plan, and prepaid for the year.

Now, I saw there's the option to subscribe so I don't have to set up the family group again next year. Tried to subscribe the family plan, but the only option offered is to pay again for the plan, for 1 year.

What are the steps to subscribe my Family Plan so it gets automatically renewed next year to the same credit card. Can it be paid yearly? Must it be monthly?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately, there's no way to subscribe for an automatic yearly charge. The prepaid period is 1-year max. (in select countries). It works much like a digital gift card with pre-paid time.

You can subscribe for an automatic monthly charge from your account page.

I have a yearly plan and would better manage my finances if I were charged once a year as many companies do.

Spotify had a very family friendly 1 year annual plan last year which seems to have changed now to monthly plan.

It will be very helpful from the top management of spotify team to bring back the annual plan which eases our effort to monitor the billing plan every month.

Unfortunately I also saw that you can’t repay again once the subscription ends.

I think so they updated there system now you can’t purchase yearly subscription
