I can't upgrade my free account to a family premium one... I am in Quebec.

I can't upgrade my free account to a family premium one... I am in Quebec.

When I try to upgrade, the app and the web site tell me that I am not illegible to upgrade to premium plans because you promotions are not good in Quebec. I dont care about the free try out. I just want the family plan and there is no way to get it by any means.

In this case, I'd like you to try to subscribe from this link to check if you notice any difference. If that doesn't do the trick, make sure your payment method has sufficient funds and is:

  • Registered in the same country to your Spotify account.
  • Not expired or canceled.
  • Enabled for foreign, secure online, and recurring purchases.
  • Opted into e-commerce and cross border payments.

If your payment methods meet these requirements, but the issue persists, try this:

  • Try entering your payment details again using a private/incognito window.
  • Get in touch with your payment provider, so they can check if everything is in order.
  • It might just be a temporary connection issue, so I advise you to wait some hours since your last attempt to try again as well.

I have the same issue not being able to upgrade my free account to a premium family account. The link you posted doesn’t work, same message  about Quebec

Can you try subscribing using this link instead? If it doesn't work, can you try using Incognito Mode?
