Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

Premium Family members are only able to switch plans once in 12 months, this includes switching between Premium Family and Premium Duo. This is called 12 month switching-restriction and it means that you will indeed have to wait if you want to join new(different) Family plan.

Please note that if you were part of somebody else's Family plan, you can return to it (you need to receive an invitation link from the owner - here is how it's done), but you will get an error if you try to switch between family plans more than once in a year. You mentioned you recently left a plan - if this plan is still active, you should still be able to rejoin it. However, if the plan was cancelled and re-started - it's possible that you won't be able to join again (in case you want to do so).

Hope this clear things up.

Cheers!

what happens if the plan gets cancelled and resubscribed? will the members be able to join the plan again?

Hey @Pwens

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.

If the other members haven't joined another different group plan (Family/Duo) in the past 12 months, there will be no issues re-joining your plan. However, if they have changed plans recently, the system will give them an error message when trying to join. In that case, we'd recommend to that user to check another different plan that may fit them to subscribe to Premium.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to ask.
