I want to leave Spotify but keep my daughter's playlists on a new Student account

I am the Plan Manager for my Premium Family account, but the only person who uses Spotify is my daughter, who is a student. How can I make her the Plan Manager on a Student Plan? If I cancel my account and sign her up for a new one, she'll lose all her playlists, right?

If you want to cancel your Premium Family plan, because you no longer need it and if your daughter is currently a plan member and wants to switch to Premium Student, you can just remove her by following these steps. The Family and Student plans aren't compatible, unfortunately, so she can either be a Family plan manager/member or have a student discount.

If you remove her from your current plan, her account will be reverted to the free service and she would be able to subscribe to Premium Student directly. More information about the student plan here. Also, her playlists will be in tact, since they are account-based and do not depend on the subscription. You can then cancel your Family plan if you're not going to use it to avoid any unnecessary charges.
