My child in my family plan needs to login to a new device but can't remember his password.

My Question or Issue

My child (in my family plan) can't remember his password and is loging into a new phone. How can he reset his password? We tryed putting in his account name (as spelled in the family plan) but it's not recognized.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

He can reset his password by heading to this page and entering either his account's username or the associated email address. It's also worth checking out this FAQ article on locating accounts.

 

The name shown in the Premium Family plan overview is likely just his account's display name instead of the actual username.
