Yes @user-removed, that might be some temporary issue maybe related to cache.

If all members are active you shouldn't worry.

Anyway if you're still interested in creating a new account, I suggest you get in touch with the Spotify Cares staff - They'll be happy to help you further with this.

There are a few ways to contact them

Another great way is to reach Spotify via Facebook support. Shoot them a message here: Spotify Cares.

Hope this helps!

Hi @user-removed, thanks for writing!

Let me first recap so I can get this clear:

You were a member of a Premium for Family plan and asked the Administrator to remove you, so you could then upgrade your account and create your own Family plan. You don't have to create a new account for that.

Now you're inviting other users to join it, I am right? If so, just make sure you're correctly logged in your new account and also are the ones you invited. You could ask them to use a browser (Chrome usually works fine) in incognito mode just to make sure.

Oh, and don't forget that users can only join a Family plan once every 12 months.

Let me know how it goes!

@Bittencourt,

Hello Thanks for you reply.

You were a member of a Premium for Family plan and asked the Administrator to remove you, so you could then upgrade your account and create your own Family plan. You don't have to create a new account for that.

-->  Indeed. This was the goal. Let us say I attached to Toto family.

Now you're inviting other users to join it, I am right? If so, just make sure you're correctly logged in your new account and also are the ones you invited. You could ask them to use a browser (Chrome usually works fine) in incognito mode just to make sure.

--> I succeeded to send my relatives the invitation mail. When they opened it they saw Welcome to Toto Family. Therefore they stopped here the process because I wanted to clarify before and be sure that I was not impacting the previous family. I don't think so. Reading other posts I saw that I could not change my address. So I think that that I still have previous adress and my be it is linked to this.... Workaround was to create new account but I do not want to loose all my music 😞

Oh, and don't forget that users can only join a Family plan once every 12 months.

--> Was not aware about that limitation. They did not validate the invitation for now. Does it mean that if I create a new account to fix this address issue I will not be able to invite them anymore??

Have a nice day,

Mariame

Right @user-removed,

You can create a new account and them get in touch with the Spotify support to make them transfer your playlists to the new one.

But as far I understand, you can manage to do this using your current account. The address is not an issue for that. If the users you're trying to invite are receiving the invitations under the name of "Toto", that's because you're logged in his account.

Make sure you're logged in your own account before sending it and let me know if it works!

@Bettencourt

Toto is not my user account but the name of the family I belonged to.

I am connected with my user account and ask me relative to check that I am no more part of his family suscribtion and he confirms that I was no longer part of its offer

From my acccount (since I upgraded it ) i have the menu to manage and add poeple. May be I am worryingfor nothing. In fact my invitees and I were expecting welcome to Mariame family not Toto family.  May be it is just display issue.

The goal of new creation account was start from 0 and set up everything correctly.

Do you ahve the mail for spotify support in case I go for new account creation?

Regards
