My Question or Issue

I own the family account subscription. I sent the invite to my wife (mcgaherr), she clicked into it and she inputted the correct postal address that is on the account but a red banner appeared saying that her account couldn't be connected to the family plan. Please help!

Hey @pm-1iu4hw_1gcwelcome to the Spotify Community!

 

In this case, can you remove the invite you sent to your wife and send her a new one? Once she gets it, ask her to try and redeem it from a different device or a desktop PC using an incognito window. If you'd like, there's additional info on how to send and accept plan invites on our Support site.

Good day Spotify, 

 

I just paid for my premium account last monday and yesterday, i cant use the app anymore. Its just pitch black. 

I will attach the photo i took today.

This doesn’t work either, I tried off Chrome Incognito mode on Mac OSX and same issue arises. Weirdly, once you accept the invite, it says “you’ve been invited to join the family plan of Rachel McGahern” even though it’s under my name and she’s the one I’m trying to add….

Sorry to hear you're still having a rough time with the Family plan invites. In this case, I suggest reaching out to the Support team via Twitter or Facebook.

 

They'll take a closer look at the accounts to help you out as soon as possible.

 

@doti_delapena, Since the issue you're experiencing is different than this thread, I suggest creating a new thread about it. Other community users, Rock Stars, or moderators will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

In the meantime, try reinstalling Spotify to see if it helps.
