My Question or Issue

Trying to use the Spotify kids app for the first time, when I try logging in with my family account, after the login page it shows the privacy notice for half a second and goes to a "oops, something went wrong" screen with bandaids in a cross.

I'm not sure what's going on but I tried uninstalling, clearing cache clearing data. Nothing works to resolve.

Please let me know if something could be wrong with my account, I have a family plan, and I had to remove a remember to establish this kids account. So maybe it's related..

Hey @garfield1979,

Welcome to the Community and good job for already performing some troubleshooting steps!

If you're the Family owner and you're logging in with your credentials, then there's most probably an issue with the Kids app and we'll investigate this together.

Would you mind testing with another internet connection to see if it'll make any difference? If you still see the same error message, it'd be great if you could even give it a try on another mobile device, if possible you can borrow one from a family member. Just make sure that no other of the family members is already logged in to their Spotify account on the other device to avoid confusion.

Thanks and we'll be on the lookout 🙂

I was having the same issue and it turned out my Adguard Home adblocker was causing the issue. Did not take the time to track what call was being blocked but I disabled it and tried again and was able to accept. Once the terms page loaded up fully I re-enabled my adblocker and it no longer gave me an error.
