Switching from Family Premium to Basic Family Plan

My Question or Issue

Is there any way to switch to a Basic Family Plan from Family Premium if the subscription cancelled for only a couple of hours, before we updated our payment information?

We first paid for Family Premium in December 2023 and switched to Basic Family in June 2024. Due to the payment cycle cancelling for only a few hours, we switched to the Free Plan and quickly updated the payment information to get Family Premium, but now, I cannot find an option for Basic Family.

Generally, you can't switch to the Basic plan (again) if your subscription was canceled or if you subscribed to Premium after a certain cut-off date.

However, I recommend reaching out to Support so that they can take a look at your account and check what options are available: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/ 🙂
