I'm trying to add a family member. They get the invite. When clicking on the link they need to log on, afterwhich they need to fill out first- and last-name, and street address. Thereafter they need to click on the I am not robot. All fine. But then upon submit, there is a non-descript error message. Sorry, there has been an error. Please try it again. Tried it 10 time again. Different browsers. Repeating the invite. Deleting the invite and resending it anew. All leading to the same, irritating error. Very, very, very bad user experience. Disappointed! Please help Spotify (it is **bleep** that you have no direct help line for your premium members!??).
Hey @dig8l,
have you tried to use an incognito tab, clear the cookies of your browser and use another device?
When this doesn't work, you should try to use another internet connection (e.g. cellular data instead of WiFi).
Have a nice day!

Hello!
I'm having the same problem as @ dig8l. I tried several times, for different browser, using e.g. cellular, wifi and cable and even then it was not possible.
How shall we do?
I have the same problem. It can be the 12 months limit. I forgot to update my details with the address so I got removed from the family plan because the email was stuck in the spam folder!!Trying to do it again but it fails. Can someone reset the counter?
Hey there again,
are the accounts you want to add on Premium? So, if they are, you have to cancel the Premium subscription and then add the persons to your family account.
I have the same problem, they are not on premium please fix this, we are paying something we cannot use.
I finally managed to find a way to chat with Spotify help desk. It was deeper down in the site, but found the way to get real time help nonetheless.
The issue was the following. My (young) family member had not seen an email request asking them to verify that their address was the same as mine. So, they had been kicked out of the premium family acccount.
Sad thing was that neither I, nor my family member's account page, had any message to this effect. I.e., "Family member X has been removed from your family plan because of Y."
Just as bad is the nondescript error message the family member received upon trying to (apparently) re-register into the family plan. "Oeps. An error has a occurred. Please try it again or contact customer support." (As I wrote. Tried it X times in Y ways each time with the same repeat error. And, finding the way to contact customer support was no easy thing either.)
Customer support was able to discern the issue and reset something in the background, after which the family member could indeed register back into our family account wihtout further issue.
All in all, a poor user experience journey "designed" by Spotifiy. I was about to start looking into other streaming serivces to be honest ....
Good luck to others with similar issues and thanks to those that tried to help. Much appreciated!
