Upgrading from Premium to Family

Upgrading from Premium to Family

Hi All, I hope someone can help. I have had a Premium subscription for going on 5 years but since recently have upgraded to Family so that we all can enjoy our own music at the same time on all our various devices (iPad, Sonos, mobile phones). All these devices already have the Spotify app downloaded and are using our Premium subscription. I sent the invites to both my daughter and husband, followed the instructions but we are getting the message that we are already "part of a Family subscription".

Do we first need to delete the app associated with the Premium subscription, set up new users accounts and then accept the invites? Or is there something else that I'm missing here?

This is driving me crazy as I'm paying for Family and have not been able to enjoy it yet.

Appreciate any and all help 🙂

Hey @kimbrennin,

 

Your family members can accept the invite while being logged into their own Spotify accounts. 🙂


If they don't have an account yet, they can sign up at https://spotify.com/signup.
