adding family members

i added family members to my spotify account. they received an e-mail asking them to accept the invitation. they did, and nothing else has happened. at the present time they do not have spotify accounts. do i need them to set up spotify accounts before they can join my pemium account?

It's not necessary to have an account, because you can create it at the same time you accept the invitation, but If that doesn't work, try creating the account and after invite your family members. Also you can share the link directly with them.
