change subscription from Spotify Premium to Premium Family

Hello. 

I was runnig Family premium subscription for a couple months, but when i was changing payment details i changed also the plan to single premium by accident. I have already paid it. 

Is there, please, any option or help how to return to family plan without waiting a month, stopping my own plan, then starting a new familyone and reinviting my members?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this. 
 

No worries, once you've subscribed for the regular Premium plan, you just need to upgrade the subscription to Premium Family. You can do this here. 

Premium Family is excluded from any offers and one-time payment options such as gift cards. This subscription has a fixed monthly price which is higher than the regular Premium price.  

If you activate a regular Premium and upgrade to Premium Family, the Premium time will be adjusted to the price difference. You can check the billing status on the subscription page. If you sign up now, the due date of your subscription will be moved forward and your next payment will be debited earlier. This is because you start using the Family options immediately.

Hi Ivan,

I have question regarding this matter as well. Hope you could assist as well. Me and my housemate are all using Spotify Premium single and we would like to combine to Family Plan Premium instead. Since all are already Premium single subscriber, how will the process be after I upgrade mine and then invite them. Will their account automatically change or they must do upgrade at their side as well? Im really confuse about this

To clarify, only one person needs to subscribe to Premium Family to become the plan owner. If you change your subscription to Premium Family, you can then send an invite to your housemates so they can join your plan.

To keep in mind; when they accept the invite, they'll see a warning that if doing so, they'll lose the remaining Premium Individual time they have left. If they accept, they'll join your Premium Family plan right away and their individual subscription will be automatically cancelled, so they won't receive any more charges. Remember that the plan owner is the only one responsible for the payments.
