My Question or Issue

I am changing from a duo plan and student plan and moving to a family plan but we all have music playlists that we don't want to lose.  If I invite my children to my new family plan, will they be able to access their existing playlists?

Thanks for posting in the Community!

Super cool that you've decided to take advantage of the Family plan, as this is the best offer Spotify has for families living under one roof! 

If you create the the subscription on your account - it becomes the managerial account...all other members must have their own accounts as well (as I get they already do) and so they can be invited to take part in the new Family plan. After their successful invitation and verification, they should receive Premium features on their accounts and also keep their existing music collections in place, nothing should be lost. 
 

The payment for all members of the Family is done via the manager's account. If members already have individual subscriptions prior to joining, they will forfeit the remaining Premium time upon joining the new Family plan. More info about the payments part here.
