receiving advertisements while part of Premium Family account

My wife is part of our family account but keeps on receiving advertisements and is also occasionally thrown out as family member. What should we best do?

Does this happen while listening to podcasts? Note that while Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience of Premium subscribers, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages.

In case she hears ads even when listening to music, she's most likely logged in to a free account instead. This article will help her locate the Premium one.

As for occasionally being kicked from the plan, this may happen if we send her an email to reverify her address and she fails to do so. There's more info on the topic here, I recommend checking it out.
