Already paid for premium

I was just charged for the monthly premium but I'd like to change my account into a student account. When I tried to sign back up for the student account it asked for my card info, I do not want to be charged twice. What can I do?

Don't worry - you won't be charged twice. All you need to do is sign up at www.spotify.com/student and the discounted rate will automatically begin on your next billing date.

https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/ - you can get a refund if it was within 14 days, but the student discount would kick in on the next debit day, so maybe out of good will they would refund half the payment instead

Actually the refund policy states that only if the user has never used his Premium subscription, or have bought but not redeemed an online Spotify gift card, he can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

This doesn't seem to be this user's case.
