@Rovicc_,

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you wonโ€™t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as โ€˜pendingโ€™. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.

Hey @jtdzan,

Have you received a receipt from Spotify via Email?

Let me know. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey @maxim . I didnt receive any receipt yet. Just that paypal screenshot.

Itโ€™s very likely just a pending charge if you havenโ€™t received a receipt from Spotify via Email ๐Ÿ™‚

A pending charge is a part of your bank or credit card companyโ€™s authorization process. When you submit a payment, they place a temporary authorization on the funds.

If the transaction doesnโ€™t successfully complete, no money will be taken and the charge will soon disappear. The time this takes can vary, depending on your bank/credit card company. For more information, contact your bank/credit card company.

Okay, i guess i'll just have to wait for the response of my bank provider. Tnx

So what happen now? I have the same problem please let me know

did you ever get your money back? if so, how long did it take? ๐Ÿ™‚

Its been a month now but i didn't get my refund

Same problem ๐Ÿ˜ญ and does that mean that my subscrption will automatically cancelled if the student verification failed? Or do I still need to cancel it manually to avoid further charges?

I registered for the student premium but I'm not eligible but the Spotify still charged me and until now it's not been refund I wat to know if they will be charging me again so that I can cancel even though it already failed to subscribe
