Changed to Premium when I had student and charged $10

Last year, I renewed my student premium account. It has not expired this year yet and my account was changed to Premium and I was charged $10. So I switched back to the student version and that will charge me $5 on Jan 8, 2018. However, I would like to be re-embursed $5 because I had no knowledge of my account changing. Also, my Hulu which I was using logged me out and says they can not verify my account when I do indeed have a Spotify.
