Charged for Premium and Spotify can’t verify me as a student

My Question or Issue

I was charged 10$ for premium this month instead of 4.99 for Student premium. I am a student and I wasn’t notified that I was going to be charged 10$ this month for regular premium . And I’m not sure why it’s saying It can not verify me as a student when I was verified as a student before and paying for student premium. I really love music and I really love Spotify I can’t afford to pay 10$ a month for Spotify as a student along with having to then pay for Hulu and Showtime separately.

I suggest contacting Customer Support. Your student discount might have expired already. Best check your e-mail and its spam and junk folders as well.

Can you tell us for how many years have you used the discount until now? Also, are you getting an error message when you try to verify yourself d? If so, what does it say?

As to not being notified that the discount is about to expire - we send an email with a notification before it happens. If you haven't seen anything like that, you can check your spam folder and if the correct email is linked to your account. That can be checked on your account page.

Bear in mind that you cannot get a refund if you've been charged with the regular price and 14 days have passed. It's our users responsibility to check the status of their subscription.
