How to change my family abo to a student abo

Hello, can anybody help me?

I want to delete my family abo and change to the student abo without loosing my music. I am already verified as a student but somehow it is not working. Does anybody have experience with this?

To change your subscription plan simply follow these steps: 

1. Log in to your account page. 
2. Under Your plan, click CHANGE PLAN.
3. Choose the regular Spotify Premium subscription.
4. Continue through to the confirmation message. 

If you've successfully applied for the Student Discount, you will be charged the discounted Premium rate at your next billing date.

And don't worry about your music, it won't be affected by the subscription change.
