I can't use Spotify with student discount

I'm using now classic Spotify Premium but i want to change it to the Primium for Students , because i'am studing now and have a student account.  When i try to change it there is a message that it can't be paid. But i pay regulary and there is no problems. But when i try to change my account there is a mistake . I hope that you can help me, because i don't want to pay 10 euro, wenn i schould pay just 5 😞

Can you try using a different payment method?

I would try cancelling your current subscription since you're having that problem, and then going to https://www.spotify.com/us/student/. Hope this helps!
