I made the wrong payment student

I made the wrong payment student

Hi,


When I was paying spotify I clicked on "students". Only after paying did I notice. However, the money went out of my account and I do not have the spotify to work.
I did not receive any email at all, but the Mastercard account in the MB WAY app said that it was discounted for the spotify.

 

Can someone help please?

Hey! Welcome to the Spotify Community

Paying too much isn't cool! You probably tried to apply to the student discount many times.

Anyway, don't worry about the money, since the transaction is still on pending. This means that Spotify froze the money from your account, to see if you actually can pay the premium subscription. As soon as Spotify notices that you haven't finished signing up, they are going to unfreeze the money and you will be able to use it again.

 

Since you haven't received Spotify Premium, I suppose that your application hasn't gone through. Check your email and Spam folders for an Email from SheerID stating that you have to reupload your documents correcting what they said was wrong.

HI,

 

I just tried it once. I put the code and I made the right payment. Just then a message appeared that I had paid for the student and it was to confirm if I was really studying.

I do not have spotify **bleep** messages in email.

I do not understand what's happening here.

Spotify is blocked with the premium upgrade message.

It sound like you have signed up for the Student Discount instead than the regular Spotify Premium subscription. Is that the case? 

 

If so, consider going to this page to get your Premium subscription. Don't worry about the charges since they'll be deletes in a few days. If you look at the status it'll say pending.

HEY,

 

yes, I signed up for the student by mistake. But they took the money from me.

Is he going back to the account? It is? Not sure if they will refund the money.

How long is it going to take?

 

I'll wait a few days to see what happens and then I come back to the forum to say something about this.
