I paid for Premium Student, my plan still hasn't changed from Individual?

I paid for Premium Student, my plan still hasn't changed from Individual?

I recently verified for Premium Student and after verification, I paid for Student plan after opting to change my current plan from Premium Individual to Premium Student. But why is the Premium Individual still activated with next payment due in January amounting to the payment of Individual subscription and not the Student one?

Thanks for the post.

 

After getting verified as a Student by SheerID, and the discount is applied to your account you need to re-upload your payment details to your account, so that the switch between the plans can happen.

 

All you need to do is go to your account page > under Your plan you'll see the Update button. Click that and re-enter your payment details. After that you should see that your monthly subscription fee and Premium status change to Premium Student.

 I already did that but my subscription remains the same and it just charged me with the $**bleep** after i just paid the $129 individual subscription 10 days ago.

Just to confirm, have you completed all these steps? If so and you got a confirmation email from SheerID, make sure to click on "Get discount" to activate it and follow the steps to register your payment method.

I’m having the exact same issue and I refuse to pay over $10 when I’m a student and I could be paying six dollars.

If you've already applied the student discount on your account, all you need to do is switch the plan to Premium Student by following the aforementioned steps. Can you check your account page to see if the student discount was successfully activated?
