My Question or Issue

I've Paid for "2 months" student premium on 31/12/2021 but my next bill was set for the next month (30/1/2022). For clarification, My premium plan is 2 months student premium since 30/10/2021 so this is my 2nd time paying on this plan (and I've already used up my free month trial before this plan)

Might i add though you'd already know;
Php 65 - 1 month student premium
Php 75 - 2 months student premium
and if the plan is already gone or unavailable anymore why am I being charged for the 2 months premium instead?

Hey @MinMinSky,

Thanks for posting here.

If you've activated the offer for two months for the price of one, your account will automatically roll onto a standard Premium for Students subscription at the end of the 2 months. This could be the reason why you've been charged after the two months Php 75.

Hope this clears things up. If you need anything else, the Community is here for you.

So more or less the 1 month student premium became php 75 now instead of php 65? But before i payed for the new plan spotify advertised "php 65" as 1 month so i don't understand, why the extra charge?

Hey @MinMinSky

Let us clarify what might have happened. The price with the student discount activated is 65 PHP monthly when the subscription is made with a credit card. But the price could be increased by 10 PHP if the subscription is made with a carrier billing or mobile wallet as Fortumo. According to the information you give us, it looks like your subscription could be made with that payment method.

You can check the price and payment method you have in your account page here.

But if you have any questions about your subscription, feel free to reach our customer service team with the different options here so they can take a look at your account.

We hope this helps. If you need anything else, remember that the community it’s always here for you.

You are advertising a premium plan for students discounted to only PHP 65. Upon going through the whole process of verification and getting verified (SheerID Verification), now it's making me pay for dollars amounting to $5.99 plus tax. Not discounted at all. You can even get a monthly plan for just PHP 129, regardless if you're a student or not, which is way better than paying that $5.99. Is this Premium Student Plan still available?

Hi there @adSocrates,

Thanks for the post.

If you're getting a price in a different currency than the one in your home country, it's likely that your account is currently set to a foreign country, the USA in your case.

The Student plan has different prices in different countries. We'd recommend you set the country of your Spotify account to the country that your university/ college is in and the country that you're currently in. This way you'll get the current price for Student Premium in your country.

Hope the helps.
